What Types Of Wigs Are There?

admin · June 7, 2022 · Leave a Comment

When choosing a wig, we must take into account both the material with which it is made and the way it is made. At Bonohair, through our own workshop, we work with natural hair wigs, mixed hair or synthetic hair wigs. All of them made with the highest quality materials, hypoallergenic, breathable and non-slip.

Natural hair wigs

The hair we use in human hair wigs or in women and men’s toupee is 100% remy, as it maintains the natural structure of the hair, that is, the root at the top and the ends at the bottom. Thus, in the event that the hair keeps the cuticles intact, they are also in the same direction. Thus, the false hair will look much more natural, soft and with an unparalleled shine.

Synthetic wigs

For their part, synthetic wigs are made with fibers of different thicknesses, cuts and finishes that give the hair a very natural look. Finally, mixed hair or Future Hair wigs are made with new technology and innovative materials with excellent properties. In this way we can offer different models of wigs that combine natural hair and heat resistant synthetic fiber.

Differences between natural and synthetic hair wigs

All wigs have a very natural appearance, so their main difference is the way they are made, since the fastening is standard in both, with rods in the sideburns area and adjustable Velcro in the area of the neck.

In monofilament wigs, the implant is made hair by hair, leaving spaces without hair, simulating the scalp. The larger the piece, the more natural it remains. In lace frontal wigs, the hair is implanted one by one on the forehead, so it is not necessary to wear bangs. The result is very natural-looking hair, simulating that the hair is born from the scalp.

Assessment

We have made a classification of the mens custom hair pieces according to the way in which it has been made. Thus, we award 1 star if it is all machine made, 2 stars if it is all machine made with monofilament on the crown part. It will be 3 stars if it is made entirely by machine and monofilament in the parting area.

The 4 stars are for those made all by machine and monofilament at the top. Those that are made by hand and monofilament at the top will be 6 stars. The classification closes with the comfort category, which are the wigs that have been made by machine and that are lined inside.

Maintenance of Wigs

Our wigs are unique with extraordinary quality and durability. This does not mean that they do not need maintenance so that they look great every day. In the case of natural hair wigs, we recommend maintenance every 8-10 days by our team of professionals.

On synthetic hair wigs, maintenance can be done at home or in a center and no heat source should be applied. In this type of wigs men’s lace hair system, it is advisable to carry out maintenance approximately every 15 days and in summer, in case of excessive perspiration, every 8 or 10 days.
